Name: Virtual Community Builders

In Spring 2005, three instructors, two in Egypt and one in California, created a forum for student correspondence using www.nicenet.org. The goal was to create a public space for dialog where students would be exposed to new ideas and perceptions, thereby gaining insight while evaluating and constructing perspectives of the Middle East, America, and history. The possibilities for future partnerships worldwide led to the creation of this site!
